Each cuvée has its story…
At the top of a hillside in Beaune, the Beaune Montagne Saint Désiré is born, in the heart of a vineyard paying tribute to the hermit Saint-Désert, founder of a chapel in this remote place. Beaune, surrounded by ramparts, is the capital of Burgundy wine, embodied by the Hôtel-Dieu, a masterpiece of the 15th century. Historically, all wine from the Côte de Beaune was named "vin de Beaune," thus affirming the unique identity of this wine region.
This exceptional Chardonnay was aged for 16 months in barrels, revealing itself with a pale yellow color and an initial floral and smoky nose, followed by aromas of citrus, butter, and white flowers. On the palate, it is ample and smooth with a floral retro-olfaction and a very pronounced aromatic finish.
You can find it at la Maison Vougeot!
